Police Investigate Complaint of Armed Intruder
Men wanted... several armed robberies
The Ottawa Police Service is looking for two males in connection with a string of robberies in the city’s south end which occurred between July 9th and July 21st. Police believe the same two men are responsible for a robbery on July 9th at the CitiFinancial branch located at 1883 Bank Street as well as a food concession stand at
Hog’s Back park on July 18th were an employee was beaten.

On both occasions a shotgun was seen being used in the robbery. Investigators also believe they are connected to the robbery at the Airport Golfland location at Paul Anka Drive on July 21st.

Armed intruder surprises Clarence Creek woman
(Clarence Creek, Ontario)- The Ontario Provincial Police in
Russell County are currently investigating allegations of an armed
intruder in a private residence on Landry Street in Clarence Creek
at 2:35 AM this morning (Wednesday, Feb.25/04).

A 38-year-old woman told police that she was returning home
from work to her apartment on Landry Street at 2:35 AM and
found an armed man sitting in her living room. The man pointed
a firearm at her face and then left the apartment. The woman’s
husband was sleeping in the bedroom during the incident.

The intruder is described as a 40-year-old white male, 6’, 140 lbs
with short blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing black baggy
pants, a black bomber style nylon jacket and black wool gloves.

The OPP Canine Unit and patrol officers arrived on scene but
were unable to locate a man fitting this description. No suspect
vehicle information was reported to police.
