Canaan Blueberries - Our best kept secret!

The Canaan Blueberry Farm experienced some of their best seasons in 2007 and 2008.
2009 was good, but with so many rainy days at the beginning of the picking season, and a loss of much of their plants due to winter kill, they had to close due to a lack of fruit.
The Reynolds as always headed up a fabulous team
ready to serve up the best "pick your own" blueberries anywhere...
and we mean anywhere. Some of their blueberries were nearly as round as
quarters and fine folk came in from all over the region to fill
their baskets in this beautiful, quiet, rural setting that is so magnetic
some residents literally returned day after day.

Long-time Canaan Road residents, Brigitte and Morlen Reynolds operate a super pick-your-own Blueberry farm. Their own honey bees are
used to fertilize the plants. A wonderful by-product is
delicious, natural honey which is
extracted from their own beehives.
This golden treasure can be
purchased for a reasonable price.

Pictured here was a team of local area kids... the force behind the Canaan Blueberries scenes, working hard to maintain the fields, picking the blueberries and keeping a close watch on marauding robins.
