Childcare / Babysitting
(Blue Jay - Cumberland Village
Forest Hill - Orleans)
by Patrick Meikle
This Canaan Connexion editor has long ago left the land of diaphers and daycares, but over the years we have had
inquiries about childcare and babysitting services in the area, both from people offering the service as well from
people looking for the service.
The need for childcare happens throughout the year and the requirements vary from season
to season, depending on the school year, March, Christmas and summer breaks, etc.
There are already a number of local and area facilities available for childcare assistance
and with new people moving into our community the need for occasional babysitters is also increasing
So with this in mind we started a list of local people and numbers to offer to you. Please bear in mind that we only provide the information and that it is up to you to check out
the sources and their backgrounds.
Do you need a daycare or babysitting? Do you wish to offer these services to others? Please
let us know if we can help.
In the meantime, if you are looking for a babysitter or daycare in this area, please consider
the services offered on this page. (Tell 'em you saw it on the Canaan Connexion.)
And if you want to offer your services, send an e-mail to:
